tough times

I am going through a lot lately. One of my best friends just moved to Florida, my doctor of 12 years "discharged" me "due to a breakdown in the patient-doctor relationship", I have to been seen my a new doctor within the next week so I am not late with my prescriptions, I have to find a therapist, another one of my best friends is moving at the end of next month, and it looks as though I may have to declare bankruptcy. I guess when the shit hits the fan, there is a lot to fall on you. On the upside...yeah I got nothing. I guess I will do some window shopping online to cheer me up.

Home Again

After a recent sleeping problem and a week-long trip to the hospital, it is good to be home. It's nice to sleep in my own bed and to use the computer. Law and Order is on this morning. My dad wants me to pick strawberries for Fathers Day tomorrow. Problem is, I have no money. So I have to wait until noon for Dad to get out of work.
I also have to make cards for tomorrow. I have to look for a Father's Day pattern.
At the hospital, there was a basket made out ontf magazines. I want to make one sooooo badly,

I have been on the go for the past two weeks, so I think that today I am going to just relax and get some 'house chores' done. I have organizing, a scrapbook to work on, a sweater to knit, laundry and coupons to clip. Not to mention the regular things, showering, making the bed, lunch and possibly meeting up with a friend later on. I told her that if she wanted to go out I would go, but I wanted to go early. My friend just called and she is not even close to being ready, although neither am I. I am getting my hair cut and colored next week so I have to go to the store to pick out the color. The last one I picked was really close to my natural color and I want to go blonde for the summer. So I have to pick a lighter color and have Cassie add some highlights in a light color. It's nice having a girl who goes to school for hairdressing in the family. She needs someone to practice on and I need my hair done. I just hope I can pull off blonde, especially since as of right now I don't have a tan. I guess I will have to try it and see what happens. I can always go back to my natural color if I don't like blonde.
I have to look for a few classes as well. I want to take a cooking class, a yoga class and a knitting class. Not all at once, but I need to sart looking.
Ok, back to the relaxing day, lol!

I recently got a http://www.cricut.com/default.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1http://www.cricut.com/default.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1http://www.cricut.com as a Christmas present and got Sure Cuts a Lot for another Christmas present. I am LOVING what I am coming up with for a scrapbook. I can't wait to figure out how to make my own svg files so that I can post some up here.

knitting away

I recently found out that my favorite lys (local yarn store), Janet Kemp is closing. I was very sad when I found this out, but was elated that I got to have a discount on the yarn and patterns. I picked up a bunch of old Interweave Knitting magazines. My new project has been Entrelac Socks by Eunny Jang. I am only on my first sock but am very happy with my results thus far. I have been posting all my progress on ravelry.

heroes

After watching all of volumes one and two of Heroes, I can't wait for the third! Especially after I saw the preview with Sylar having his powers back! Should be really exciting. I can't believe I am going to have to wait until September to see more!!!

Heroes is tentatively slated to start production on Season 3 on May 1 — more than two months ahead of schedule. As a result, the show could have as many as 10-13 episodes already in the can by the time it returns in September.

I think that tomorrow may be the day that I have been waiting for a whole 10 days for. After being super-impatient and checking my account status on a daily basis, I think that I might get my ravelry invite tomorrow. I can't wait!
